I broke my leash today on a chest high wave, not sure how it happened but it broke at the base of the ankle cuff. I surf almost everyday and the leash has been great and it's unfortunate that it broke. However I did use it quite a bit. I purchased the leash less than 6 months ago and its pretty disappointing that it lasted for such a short time. Fortunately, they offer a a 1 year warranty. I emailed them and their customer service was quick to respond, even the founder respond to my emails. They simply asked for a pic or proof of purchase and just like that they mailed me another leash. Based on this level of service, I'm willing to give it another try.This leash is pretty good. It doesn't tangle up and is pretty resistant. However, the knotted loop got loose after the first five waves and the table got beached as a result.this leas is a good value but it is rather on the cheap side. Cheap relative to the higher quality brands but you get what you pay for. In all honesty, for the price, you get more than what you pay for but just a little bit more. I would recommend these leashes.I bought 2 of these, the first one broke after a few months, ok things happen. I have had leashes surfed in big conditions that never broke for years but that one broke after a few months, ok no big deal so far. The second leash broke after 5 months and lasted from spring to end of summer, now that's BS, it broke on a 4 ft wave and I used it surfing mostly summer waves, and 3 fters, sorry but the quality is not at the level I'm expecting for my leashes, I'm done buying your products.I've never had a SYMPL leash until now. It's a very solid leash that is reasonably-priced and comfortable.Good quality affordable priceLove my new leash! Lightweight, comfortable and quality components - i used to own a surf shop and would definitely have stocked this company had I known about them!Edit for now, 10 months later... my leash lasted until last week... surfing in Indonesia I finally retired it because the Velcro flap started to rip. I'm still 100% happy with my purchase and actually came back here to find myself a replacement one!Really dig the color but not my favorite leash I’ve used. Gets the job done though. I prefer Dakine/creatures but thought I’d try a new company...
