The harness does it’s job. I measured my cat. I got the XS because the XXS was way too small and couldn't even be closed. I made sure it’s not too tight on my cat. Just make sure your cat/dog doesn’t pull away because they can escape the harness by slipping out, without the velcro coming undone. (My cat wasn’t in the mood for a walk today so she escaped the harness and walked back to the house.) Other than that, we’ve been okay on other days. Just beware if you have a pet that tends to run away!Although the medium is a bit bigger than I wanted it to be (my cat is over 12lbs).Something concerning was that the bag in which the harness came was already openedI bought this for my cat we adopted after my last indoor/outdoor cat ran off last November that I'd had for 2.5 yrs. We've had trouble finding a halter we both like. Bought one from Walmart in the cat isle but she was able to easily escape it.This one is excellent quality and very soft, yet quite sturdy, and is so easy to put on and take off--it's a winner. I bought it specifically bc it says escape proof.Nala says it's so comfortable she hardly knows it's there. Well, she didn't actually say that but she didn't exhibit her usual behavior of rolling and squirming and trying to rub it off on the floor while looking insulted and cross. I ordered a xxs bc she is a kitten and I wanted it to fit well enough she couldn't escape it. I'm so pleased with it, I'm ordering another one in the near future after she's done growing for the most part.Better quality than one that cost twice as much. Highly recommend. 10/10I have a 3 lb chihuhua and this is the first thing that has actually fit her and matches the item description ! I love it and will be ordering another! He highly enjoys going for strolls outside, and I was looking for a sturdy harness that was unlikely to slip off. I was extremely apprehensive to purchase this product because most of the other reviews had mentioned dogs, but I took a gamble regardless. I needn’t have feared too much, because Xiong seems very much not to mind this harness, and it seems to fit him securely. It should be noted that he hasn’t ever actually tried to escape from the harness, and if he tried, I honestly don’t know what would happen. Given that he’s not tried that yet, so far things have gone just fine. In regards to the fit of the harness, he fits in it just fine. It’s neither super loose nor super tight, although the Velcro does not overlap entirely. There is still plenty of room for adjustment of the strap, though, and his movement isn’t in any way impaired. Most of the Velcro overlaps anyhow, so I’m not terribly concerned. Since he’s still young and possibly still growing, I might have to buy up a size next time!About the leash: The leash was a separate product and not part of this set, which is why it looks different from the photos. I didn’t want anyone to be misled by accident!I like this harness because it is easy to take on and off and it's well made. The leg holes are wide enough that they don't rub her armpits but she also can't pull a houdini and escape through them. I have already purchased another as a back up. My yorkie is 9 months old and 7 1/2lbs wearing an XS.I bought the wrong size for my pet on accident and they were very nice about it they gave me a full refund and even let me keep the smaller size. But as far as I can see the quality is really good and seems very durable.Love the product. Great quality and looks very very cute on my 6 month cockapoo puppy. Size was good as well.It was really hard to find a harness to fit my 3.5 lb puppy (15weeks). This seems cozy and comfy for her … she has approx . 6” neck and 9.25” chest. Only wish for more varied colours … not a pastel fan.
