Love this leash! Ankle strap is very comfortable. I initially had some skepticism about the no tangle device, thought it may be a sales gimmick, but it really works! I let my wife try it out during one of our surf sessions and now she is jealous of my leash, she is going to buy her own. Worry every penny and can’t beat the 3 year warranty. I had one time in which it got wrapped around the tail of my board padding out, but besides that, no tangles or other issues. Solid all around!This leash tangles more than a regular leash. Total gimmickThese types of leashes came and went back in the early 2000s, so I thought they were mostly just hype. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a shot and it did help prevent leash entanglement out in the water. The weight did not increase drag by much at all (I ride 25L so any drag would be pretty noticeable). All in all, I'd recommend this leash in everyday conditions. If it's very small, then a thinner leash without the weight might be a better call.so far, so good - just picked it up winter 2021 for my 8ft Ben Gravy soft top - great for shreddin the glassy East Coast 40 degree winter waves in my hood, booties and gloves - home breaks at 5th st and 37th st in OCNJ and of course El Slammo - For the Dream- Fully Nuking
